As a new immigrant, or as a newcomer from another part of New Zealand, you are welcome to join the Marlborough Newcomers Network. We would like you to feel at home in Marlborough and to settle well into your new environment.

Marlborough Newcomers Network can offer you friendship and support through various activities. You may also get support with settlement issues. You are welcome, regardless of your age, your nationality or the language you speak.

Becoming part of this is just a phone call or email away....

Who Are We?

Marlborough Newcomers Network is a non-profit organisation run by unpaid volunteers with administrative and general support from the Marlborough Migrant Centre (check out www.marlboroughonline.co.nz/mmc to find out more). Most of us have at some point been new to Marlborough and so understand the difficulties faced when moving here.

We are here to support anyone new to Marlborough, You do not have to be from overseas, if you are new to Marlborough from other parts of New Zealand, Marlborough Newcomers Network is for you. If you are an immigrant from an English speaking country Marlborough Newcomers Network is for you. If you are from a non-English speaking country then Marlborough Newcomers Network is for you.

We are not...

Tied to any church, mosque, temple, synagogue or any other religious group (but we welcome all regardless of beliefs.)
We are not tied to any political organisation and welcome all regardless of political views. We are not tied to any business or commercial organisation (although as a non-profit organisation run by volunteers we do accept donations or sponsorship).
